1. Wall-mounted toothbrush holder
Welcome to the future… is what this wall-mounted toothbrush holder makes me want to say.
This mounted bathroom all-purpose tool allows you to store not only your toothbrushes and toothpaste but rinsing cups and an assortment of storage nooks for lots of smaller items.
2. Toilet paper stand
Vertical space is key if you want to make the most of your available storage room.
This vertical toilet paper stand is perfect for freeing up lots of floor or closet space while also being stylish and super convenient.
3. Corner shower rack
A great corner shower rack such as the one pictured above (see the link) is amazing not only because it adds extra storage space but also because it makes the most of the interior shape of the average RV shower.
You can get one that’s flat for a single wall or a cornered version, however, whichever works best for your RV.
4. Counter bin
Counter bins are simple but incredibly useful. They can hold all kinds of items from toiletries to medicine, skincare, and more.
Another benefit of counter bins is how great they are on the road. No more having to deal with throwing countertop items in a cabinet or box as you drive, as these counter bins will keep everything nice and secure on the road.
5. Slim bin
A slim bin is a useful item, particularly if your toilet rests very close to your sink or wall to the point where you find it hard/impossible to fit a regular trash bin.
You can also get slim bins that are taller than your average restroom trash bin, which is nice for reducing the frequency by which you need to take your restroom trash out.

6. Stackable storage containers
Stackable food containers are something you may have seen before, but if not, prepare to be wowed.
Stackable containers allow you to take the floor space of a single container with multiple containers, saving you tons of fridge space in the process.
With stackable food containers, you can also more easily label and organize individual ingredients (they’re great for meal prep too).
7. Magnetic fridge storage
Magnetic fridge storage is a great way to get extra storage space that can withstand the bumps and vibrations of the road.
This kind of storage is ideal for keeping condiments, spices, kitchen tools, and more. However, you can use it to store virtually anything (particularly long items) which makes these extremely useful.
8. Shelf ceiling storage
I know what you’re thinking: hooks aren’t going to work while you’re on the road.
While, true cabinet ceiling storage such as this comes in lots of different varieties, some better for RVs than others.
And, regardless, they’re one of the best ways to make use of vertical space without occupying floor space, a rare but valuable storage commodity.
9. Removable countertop
Neat, right? This removable countertop is a two-in-one countertop extension and cutting board. While between meals, simply set it on your stove and it adds extra countertop space.
While preparing meals, it can be used as a cutting board, a prep area, or simply put off to the side, against a wall, in a cabinet, or on your table, without occupying any additional space.
10. 3-Tier corner shelf
This 3-tier corner counter shelf turns a single countertop into, well… three!
These are great for getting more counter or cabinet space and better organizing your kitchen such as dinnerware, spices, various food items, and more.

11. Stackable storage bins
Stackable storage bins are the stackable food containers of your RV basement: they make the most of your storage space by expanding vertically.
Designed to fit together like puzzle pieces, they also stay put while driving, so you don’t open your basement to a mess.
You can get a variation of these stackable bins with pull-out drawers that you can label and organize to give you easy access to items you use frequently such as tools or various outdoor items.
12. RV hose storage bags
While not a necessity, RV hose storage bags are a neat and functional way to better organize your sewer, water, and electrical hoses and keep them separated from one another even when in a confined space.
The bags also have a pull-to-tighten string which allows you to reduce the space they take up by a bit, making them great for saving a little space in your RV basement as well.
13. Label and categorize smaller items
Small tip with infinite potential: take some time to label and organize everything in drawers.
Getting a small drawer system or a set of stackable bins for your basement and then labeling everything you’ve placed in them is a great way to make smaller items easier to find, saving you time and hassle.
14. Step mount storage box
An under step storage box is a wide (typically metal) storage box that fits right under your step mount.
They can offer a massive amount of additional storage space considering how small RV basements tend to be.
The only drawback is that you need to remove it whenever you have to use your step mount. However, they’re typically very easy to remove and place to the side as well as reattach.
15. Under chassis storage unit
Similar to the under step mount storage box, an under chassis storage unit is a great way to get some extra basement storage.
Most under chassis units are slide-out as well, making them easy to access and super convenient for storing things such as your hoses and tools.
5 Additional Storage Ideas for RV Interiors
Now, let’s talk about a few additional storage ideas including some creative space hacks and unique space-saving products.
16. Bedside Caddy
A bedside caddy is a great way to get a little extra bedside space without taking up much extra room in your RV.
Not only that, it’s incredibly convenient space, allowing you to store thing you’d use just before bed or in the morning so that it’s easy to access.
17. Storage headboard
A storage headboard is another great bedroom storage hack and one which can really add a lot of convenience.
Some storage headboards even include charging ports, making them a great way of getting a full nightstand worth of storage even if you don’t have the space in your RV.
18. Under shelf basket
An under shelf basket connects to the bottom section of a shelf and typically comes in the shape of an open drawer.
The space right below a shelf, such as a small two-tier cabinet, can often be wasted. This makes under shelf baskets a great way of making use of unused vertical space.
19. Collapsible tea kettle
A collapsible tea kettle is a tiny hack that turns something which typically takes up a decent amount of vertical counter space into something that can fit in a small drawer.
20. Stackable nesting bowls
A set of nesting bowls can be as small as a medium or large-sized bowl but include several bowls within, allowing you to save tons of space.
In some cases, such as the Joseph Joseph Nest 9 Plus set linked above, nesting bowls will include other useful kitchen accessories such as measuring cups.
