Meet Our Founder
Amanda Benson
Owner, Researcher, Blogger, Vlogger, Editer, Fixer, Wanderer
Amanda was raised on a farm in the Midwest, where her love for nature, independence, and DIY projects blossomed. She began solo traveling in 2005, and has traveled and backpacked all over the US, Canada, and Mexico. She eventually became a firefighter and paramedic in 2013 and still fights fire today. She spent numerous years remodeling her house before deciding to sell it and move into an RV. She navigates this lifestyle as a solo RVer and shares her insights and resources with others. She loves to troubleshoot, and you can frequently find her crammed halfway into a utility cubby, helping someone fix an issue.
